Justice of the Peace Updates

Just like with all State and Federal Licenses and Certificates there is a time for all CT Justice of the Peace to have their refresher and take their oath in the town to which they are certified, and that time is now. A Certified Justice of the Peace in the State of CT has a term the same amount of time as that of that of the President of the United States, which is four years. This term officially starts on January 3, 2017 and ends on January 4, 2021. In order to be relieved of your duties you must

Real Wedding: Wendy and Todd at Eolia Mansion Harkness State Park 2016

Working with Wendy and Todd on they are stunning Eolia mansion wedding  was definitely a family affair! Both sides were extremely close and work together to create a day for all to remember. I had a wonderful time working with not only the bride and the groom but the bride sister  Krissy, who was the maid of honor,  and both of the amazing mothers whose love for their children was so evident. By the end of the process I felt like a welcome addition to the family. So come along on this journey of love, family, and new beginnings. Thank you

Real Wedding- CT Shoreline August 2016, Marnie and Steve

Marnie and Steve came to me to be their Justice of the Peace, and in minutes we were laughing and planning the big day. I am beyond thrilled to say I became part of the team as their planner/designer and as their Justice of the Peace.  I can honestly say we had a blast working together, so much laughter at our meetings and trust in the planning process. I was able to provide the couple with all the elements they desired to create their vision, which was incredibly important to them both (and to me too)! From their perfect beach

The Halloween wedding of Mother Nature and the Wolfman October 2013

It is a rare day when a wedding allows you to go so outside the box that it creates not just a wedding, but an event that no one will ever forget. It is one of the reasons why once a year I am so proud to flashback to October 2013. The extraordinary design of this event allowed me to use my theatrical background to create the wedding of my clients’ dreams. To me, they will forever be known as Mother Nature and the Wolfman. Enjoy this Halloween wedding flashback! -Lisa

Real Shoreline Wedding: Val and Dom August 2016

This real life shoreline wedding took place at the Madison Beach Hotel in August 2016. The Bride and Groom are a fun and fabulous couple who celebrate life every chance they can. I loved helping them to create the design and decor that fit their personalities. The use of fuchsia, cobalt blue, vibrant yellow and fun beach accents help to create a one-of-a-kind day that highlighted their sense of style in every way.  This wedding truly represented the couple: who they are, what they love, and how they love. Enjoy! Lisa

The gorgeous views of the Thimble Islands, the rustic wood bar, and ceiling beams, and fantastic lawn for your ceremony, is one of a kind! There are also on-site sleeping quarters where you enjoy a breeze right off the Long Island Sound. Thank you to Stilwell Photography for sharing these stunning pictures, and a congratulations to Mary-Beth and Jeff on an amazing wedding surrounded by

Real Wedding: Dana and Brennan June 2016

All Creative Concepts by Lisa Clients are special and we are so honored to be a part of their wedding day! However, there is something so incredibly special about working with Military Couples and their families, they have tradition, they have commitment of love to friends and family, and they have an incredible ability to trust, they bring together a team of people to do their jobs and they trust their team. Dana and Brennan were extraordinary from the beginning, coming to me with concerns and questions, and trusting me and the process to take them on a special
