My philosophy of Wedding and Event Planning is simple, when the curtain goes up you get a ”standing ovation”! I absolutely love being a wedding planner!
As a child I grew up in Westchester New York and then graduated from The Boston Conservatory, where I have spent my life surrounded by design, theatre, and a feeling that any dream can come true, you just need the right team to make it happen.
I have Directed, Choreographed, Performed, and Designed hundreds of shows giving me an outside the box approach to create events of all shapes and sizes with all types of budgets! I have had the pleasure of planning events up to 600 guests and love that each and every event is different and still exciting!
My creative and innovative style combine my with boundless energy, and integrity, provide you with a fresh approach to planning. My planning abilities stretch to all styles of events, including, Weddings, Birthdays, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Quinceanera Parties, Corporate Parties, Non-Profit Galas or Fundraisers, Outdoor Events, Launch Parties and more! I have a simple goal, to bring my clients own sense of style to life! With my guidance to lead the way I truly am here to assist you in making your event truly your own. Whether you want a traditional event or an event that is a style all its own I am here to bring it center stage!

I was Rhett the Terrier at Boston University while in college to make some extra money at Football, Basketball and Hockey Games and even got to choreograph some of the BU Cheerleader halftime shows.
As a dancer I wish I could have danced with Patrick Swayze.
I was a world Champion Baton Twirler, yep, I even twirled at a Wedding for a client in 2014!
I am Musical Theatre Major from the Boston Conservatory.
I consider myself a MacGuyver at weddings, I can fix anything!

Ryan has been with Creative Concepts by Lisa for since 2015 due to sheer boredom. Looking for a summer job Ryan was brought in while he was working toward his Undergraduate Degree at Salisbury University, where he graduated with a B.S. Accounting. Ryan had an insane attention to detail, and incredible work ethic, and became a great team member jumping in whenever and wherever he was needed. Getting the office set up with QuickBooks and making the day to day life so much more manageable Ryan can still be seen working events, as well as in the office, as he works to finish his Master’ Degree at Fairfield University where he is receiving his Master’s in Business Analytics (MSBA).
When Ryan is not helping Lisa make the day to day operations you can find him, working out, working on his car, or driving toward his career goals, Ryan has been told he can never leave Creative Concepts by Lisa, no matter where life may take him.

Tent Rain Goddess, Event Manager
Rachel graduated University of New Haven with a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and concentration in Event Management. Shortly before graduating college in, 2013 she began working at The Study Hotel at Yale as a Banquet Server. This was one of the major steps in her career that convinced Rachel she wanted to continue in event planning.
In 2014 Rachel started with Creative Concepts by Lisa, her first event was a tent on Long Island Sound that had an unexpected Hurricane Hit, Rachel was there as Lisa evacuated the tent THREE times, and she still came back the next day, we are so glad as she has been a wonderful part of the team, and she has had some great experiences at a variety of locations.
In 2015 Rachel also started to work as the Banquet Office Coordinator at Union League Cafe in New Haven , she has a varied carrier with fabulous companies building her experience and own sense of event Style!

Kelly has been with Creative Concepts by Lisa since 2016 and is back to continue to be one of our hands on crafty queens! She is always up for a challenge with her glue gun, lettering and custom sign magic!
A 2016 graduate from Gateway Community College in New Haven, Connecticut with an Associate in Science for Hospitality Management. Kelly was inspired to enter the event planning field when she got married in 2007, she began to work with CCBL as an intern in Spring of 2016 and we have kept Kelly around as a wonderful part of the team, and we are thrilled to say that Kelly “loves assisting CCBL clients”.
When Kelly is not helping Lisa make your event a memorable one, she can be found making art at home or at her other workplace, attending live music events, lazing on the couch with a good book and her cats, or throwing dinner parties for friends.

Princess of the Interns, Event Assistant
Victoria is Attending Central Connecticut State University pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Hospitality and Tourism. She came to Creative Concepts by Lisa in 2016 and spent her first season learning about working at Various Locations, and helping out in office projects for clients. After her internship was completed Victoria was asked to stay on with the team and is back for 2017!
She is the Vice President of the Hospitality and Tourism club at the University and, with a 3.9 GPA, she is proudly part of the Golden Key Honor Society. She has been working in hospitality since she was 16 from fine dining restaurants to event planning. She strives to have a career in this industry because of her love of traveling, learning about new cultures, and helping to make others dreams possible.
Victoria also works at St. Clements Castle in Portland, CT and at CAVA in Southington, which are both providing her with other hands on experience as she reaches for her goals in Tourism and Hospitality!

Social Media and Inventory Magician, Event Assistant
Jess joined the CCBL Team in May of 2014, and returned to complete her Collegiate Internship in 2015 as a requirement for graduation. Upon completion Jess graduated from Elon University in 2016 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Sport and Event Management and minors in Leadership Studies and Business Administration. Staying on to assist since 2014 Jess implemented the Inventory System for the Design Studio rentals and took over the Website Blog Posts which she now shares with Irene. She has had a passion for wedding and event planning since a young age, and has helped us with events ranging from Gala Fundraisers to Weddings to Golf Tournaments. Although Jess continues to work outside of CT she is part of the team always and when back visiting family in Madison she immediately jumps in to Team CCBL activities.
